Job Description
- Monitor daily production targets and ensure timely delivery.
- 2. Team ManagementSupervise craftsmen, supervisors, and production staff.
- Train and guide workers on production techniques and quality standards.
- Manage workforce productivity and attendance.
- 3. Quality ControlEnsure jewellery pieces meet company quality standards.
- Monitor finishing, polishing, stone setting, and assembly quality.
- Work with QC teams to minimize defects and rework.
- 4. Process OptimizationImprove manufacturing processes to increase efficiency.
- Reduce metal loss and production wastage.
- Implement best practices in jewellery manufacturing.
- 5. Inventory & Material ManagementCoordinate with stores for gold, diamonds, gemstones, and components.
- Track metal usage and control production loss.
- Maintain production records and reports.
- 6. Coordination with Other DepartmentsWork with design, merchandising, and sales teams to understand production requirements.
- Coordinate with procurement for raw material availability.
- 7. Cost ControlMonitor production costs and labor efficiency.
- Ensure optimal use of materials and resources.
- 8. Compliance & SafetyEnsure compliance with company policies and manufacturing standards.
- Maintain workplace safety in the production area.
