What you'll be doing 

 

In this senior functional consultant position, you will play a pivotal role on our Technology One implementation and support team. You will be instrumental in designing and implementing Technology One application including its functional scope, configurations, user access management and user training. You will engage directly with clients and help define the scope and validate the completed implementations(??).

 

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Facilitate workshops and user discussions to identify pain points, system gaps, and opportunities for improvement, translating these into actionable solutions.
  • Configure TechnologyOne CiAnywhere to meet business requirements, including workflows, forms, and business rules within Finance, Supply Chain, and Asset Management modules.
  • Develop and execute test plans, scripts, and scenarios to validate configurations, ensuring solutions meet business needs and system integrity.
  • Implement reconciliation reports to verify and validate data accuracy post-migration, identifying discrepancies and ensuring consistency between source and target systems.
  • Assisting in scoping, estimation, and task planning for assigned projects.
  • Perform testing of ETL processes and data profiling tools, debugging issues and refining operations based on feedback and requirements.
  • Support end-user training and adoption by delivering training sessions, creating user guides, and providing post-go-live support.
  • Create and maintain detailed documentation, including functional specifications, configuration guides, and user training materials.
  • Working with functional experts to understand data migration requirements and translate into data engineering and data analytics functionality.
  • Design and support data integrations, pipelines, and algorithms to extract and transform data from various sources into a format ready to load into target systems.
  • Design and development of data profiling tools to analyse and understand the structure, quality, and integrity of data prior to migration.
  • Implement reconciliation reports to verify and validate data accuracy post-migration, identifying discrepancies and ensuring consistency between source and target systems.
  • Assisting in scoping, estimation, and task planning for assigned projects. 
  • Perform testing of ETL processes and data profiling tools, debugging issues and refining operations based on feedback and requirements.
  • Document the ETL processes, data profiling methods, and reconciliation procedures to maintain clear and accessible records for future reference and compliance.
  • Keep up-to-date with the latest tools, technologies, and best practices in data engineering to continuously improve the quality and efficiency of work.

 

Mandatory skills:

  • Must have 8+ years’ experience with full life-cycle implementation of Oracle ERP, SAP or Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance implementation.
  • Demonstrated experience of converting business requirements and use cases into functional solutions.
  • Deep knowledge and know-how of functional domains in finance & asset management areas.
  • Functional expertise in several Finance / Controlling areas including but not limited to: General Ledger Accounting, Accounts Receivables, Accounts Payable, Fixed Assets and Enterprise Asset Management, Cash Management, Collection Management, Project financials, electronic bank statements, Treasury, Accounting Hub, Overhead costing, Production costing, Profit center accounting, accruals, budgeting, profitability analysis and vendor management.
  • Must demonstrate knowledge and experience in implementation principles, practices, and methodologies in any finance, asset management & taxation systems.
  • Experience with successful E2E implementations (at least 3 years of experience on large projects).
  • Good to have experience in SCM (Supply Chain) module which includes Inventory, Master Planning, Procurement & Sourcing, Service, Warehouse, and Asset Management.
  • Good communication skills to work effectively within a team and interact with clients or other stakeholders to gather requirements and present solutions. 
  • Comfortable in an Agile working environment and using Scrum project management.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to troubleshoot issues during the migration process and optimize data workflows.

Desired skills:

  • Using any ETL tools in the context of Data Migration for these implementation projects. 
  • Experience in conducting user training programs.
  • Proficiency in PowerBI or similar reporting tools for creating dynamic reports and visualizations that can help in presenting data insights effectively to stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of security best practices for data protection and compliance. User access management for functional user groups.
