Position Title:Vegetable Cutter Kitchen Assistant

Department:Hostel Kitchen Food Services

Job Summary:The Vegetable Cutter will be responsible for preparing vegetables for daily meal production in the hostel kitchen by cleaning washing peeling and cutting them as per standard hygiene and food safety norms. The role supports cooks and kitchen staff to ensure timely and efficient meal preparation.

• Key Responsibilities:Wash clean peel and cut vegetables as per daily menu requirements
• Maintain hygiene and cleanliness of the food preparation area
• Follow food safety and sanitation standards at all times
• Assist cooks and kitchen staff during meal preparation
• Ensure proper storage of cut vegetables
• Clean cutting tools boards and workstations after use
• Support kitchen operations during peak hours
• Follow instructions from kitchen supervisor or hostel management
• Requirements:Basic knowledge of kitchen hygiene practices
• Ability to work in a fast paced kitchen environment
• Physically fit to stand for long hours
• Prior experience in hostel hotel or canteen kitchen preferred
• Willing to work as per hostel meal schedules
