Laptop Repair Technician

We are looking for a skilled Laptop Chip-Level Technician to join our computer sales and service center. The candidate will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing laptops and desktops at the motherboard (chip) level, ensuring high-quality service and quick turnaround time.

Key Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and repair laptop and desktop motherboard issues at chip level.
• Perform soldering, desoldering, and replacement of ICs, MOSFETs, capacitors, resistors, and other components.
• Troubleshoot problems related to power, charging, display, boot failure, and short circuits.
• Repair and replace DC jacks, keyboard connectors, USB ports, HDMI ports, and other board components.
• Use tools such as multimeter, hot air rework station, soldering station, and microscope for repairs.
• Install and troubleshoot Windows OS, drivers, and basic software issues when required.
• Maintain proper service records and repair reports.
• Coordinate with the service team and ensure timely completion of repairs.

Requirements:

• Minimum 1–3 years experience in laptop chip-level repair.
• Strong knowledge of motherboard circuits and electronic components.
• Experience with BGA, SMD soldering and motherboard troubleshooting.
• Ability to diagnose faults using schematics and board view (preferred).
• Honest, responsible, and able to work in a fast-paced service environment.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience repairing brands like Dell, HP, Lenovo, Acer, Asus, etc.
• Knowledge of data recovery and component-level troubleshooting is an advantage.
