Inviting applications for the role of Lead Consultant – Automation & DevOps
We are seeking a Lead Consultant – Automation & DevOps with deep hands-on experience in cloud automation, CI/CD, and platform engineering, and strong expertise in Microsoft Azure.
This role is designed for a technical leader who can architect, build, and govern enterprise-scale DevOps and automation platforms while mentoring teams and engaging directly with senior stakeholders.
The ideal candidate blends engineering excellence with consulting maturity—capable of both executing automation and shaping DevOps strategy across complex environments.

Primary Responsibilities

Technical Leadership & Architecture
•    Lead the design and implementation of Azure-based DevOps and automation platforms
•    Define CI/CD standards, reference architectures, and reusable automation patterns
•    Architect cloud-native solutions using Azure DevOps, GitHub, Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), and Azure PaaS services
•    Drive containerization and orchestration strategies using Docker and Kubernetes (AKS)
Automation & Platform Engineering
•    Build and maintain infrastructure automation using Terraform, ARM/Bicep, and scripting (Python, PowerShell, Bash)
•    Implement end-to-end CI/CD pipelines supporting build, test, security scanning, and deployment
•    Automate application deployments, environment provisioning, and operational workflows
•    Enable policy-driven, repeatable, and auditable automation across environments
Azure Cloud Engineering
•    Hands-on experience with Azure services including: 
o    Azure Virtual Machines, App Services, Functions
o    Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS)
o    Azure Storage (Blob, Queue, Table)
o    Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Application Insights
o    Azure Networking, Identity (Entra ID), RBAC
•    Integrate monitoring, logging, and alerting into CI/CD and runtime platforms
•    Optimize cloud environments for security, reliability, and cost
DevOps Tooling & Ecosystem
•    Work extensively with: 
o    Azure DevOps (Pipelines, Repos, Boards, Artifacts)
o    GitHub / GitHub Actions
o    Artifact repositories (Azure Artifacts, JFrog Artifactory)
o    Configuration management tools (Ansible)
•    Establish branching strategies, release governance, and environment controls
Consulting & Stakeholder Engagement
•    Act as a trusted advisor to clients and internal stakeholders
•    Translate business and operational requirements into technical automation solutions
•    Lead technical discussions with architects, platform teams, and leadership
•    Mentor engineers and elevate DevOps maturity across teams

Minimum Qualifications / Skills
•    Good experience years of overall IT experience
•    Good experience years hands-on experience in DevOps, automation, or platform engineering
•    Strong background in cloud-native application delivery and infrastructure automation
•    Proven experience leading or owning DevOps transformations or platform initiatives
Technical Skills (Core)
•    Azure Cloud (primary)
•    CI/CD: Azure DevOps Pipelines, GitHub Actions
•    Automation & Scripting: Python, PowerShell, Bash
•    Containers: Docker, Kubernetes (AKS)
•    Infrastructure as Code: Terraform, ARM, Bicep
•    Version Control: Git (GitHub / Azure Repos)
•    Monitoring & Observability: Azure Monitor, Log Analytics
Additional / Nice-to-Have
•    Experience with AWS or multi-cloud environments
•    Exposure to Java or backend application development
•    Knowledge of security scanning, policy enforcement, and DevSecOps practices
•    Experience working in enterprise or regulated environments
