Lead - Design Mechanical

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the mechanical design team in the development of data centre projects
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate mechanical systems with overall data centre designs
• Ensure compliance with local and international codes and standards related to mechanical systems in data centres
• Conduct technical reviews and provide recommendations for design improvements
• Oversee the selection and specification of MEP equipment, including HVAC systems, chillers, and fire-fighting systems
• Participate in design reviews and coordinate with stakeholders to address feedback and optimize mechanical designs
• Support the procurement and installation of mechanical systems, ensuring quality and performance
• Provide technical expertise and guidance to resolve mechanical design challenges during project execution
• Contribute to the development and implementation of best practices for mechanical design in data centre projects
• Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in mechanical systems for data centres

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering (B. Tech Mechanical)
10-15 years of experience in the Data Centre industry
