Job Summary

This role is for a Continuous Improvement (CI) Manager responsible for driving site-wide operational excellence through structured problem-solving, Lean methodologies, and cultural transformation. The position requires a hands-on leader with expertise in Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, and performance analytics. As a key driver of productivity and efficiency, this role will establish a multi-year CI roadmap, lead high-impact improvement projects, and support cross-functional teams in identifying and resolving systemic issues.

" Roles & Responsibilities

  • Establish a multi-year Continuous Improvement (CI) roadmap to drive world-class operational performance and align with strategic site objectives.
  • Identify and prioritize improvement opportunities across value streams and support functions, using structured problem-solving and root cause analysis.
  • Execute high-impact CI projects using Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, and other methodologies to eliminate waste, reduce bottlenecks, and improve productivity.
  • Track equipment performance using metrics such as OEE, MTBF, and MTTR, and lead initiatives to optimize asset utilization and reliability.
  • Provide timely and accurate MIS updates—including cost improvement dashboards and savings reports—to site leadership and project stakeholders.
  • Coach teams on Lean and OE tools, facilitate workshops, and set up visual management systems to sustain improvements and foster team ownership.
  • Promote a culture of continuous learning, collaboration, and accountability through daily team engagements, huddles, and recognition programs.
  • Support Rough Cut Capacity Planning (RCCP) and coordinate cross-functional Lean projects toenhance agility, responsiveness, and operational effectiveness.

Qualifications

Educational Qualification

Graduation in Mechanical, Industrial, Chemical Engineering, Pharmacy or related field is mandatory.
Certification in Lean Six Sigma (Green Belt) and Lean Six Sigma (Black Belt) is preferred.
JIPM certification is preferred.

  • Exposure to data analysis and reporting in transformation projects to track process performance, quality improvements, and change management is preferred.
  • Experience in FMEA and Root Cause Analysis to optimize costs and productivity is desired.
  • Exposure to Lean tools such as Kaizen, VSM, or SMED for throughput improvement, changeover time reduction, and labour/material optimization is preferred.
