Job Description
- InstallationRead and interpret blueprints, technical diagrams, and installation instructions.
- Assemble lift components and install mechanical and electrical systems.
- Ensure lifts are aligned correctly and operate smoothly.
- Work with rigging equipment and tools for precise installation.
- Coordinate with construction teams during building projects.
- 2. Maintenance & ServicingConduct routine inspections of lift systems to ensure safe and proper operation.
- Lubricate moving parts and adjust systems for optimal performance.
- Replace worn or damaged parts such as cables, pulleys, or electrical wiring.
- Maintain service records and log all maintenance tasks.
- 3. Troubleshooting & RepairsDiagnose issues related to mechanical failures, wiring faults, or software malfunctions.
- Respond to emergency breakdowns or service calls.
- Use diagnostic tools to test control systems, safety switches, and circuits.
- Repair or replace defective components efficiently and safely.
- 4. Testing & Safety ChecksPerform safety checks to comply with legal and manufacturer standards.
- Test emergency systems such as brakes, alarms, and communication systems.
- Ensure lifts meet local and national safety codes (e.g., EN, ASME, or OSHA regulations).
- 5. Modernization & UpgradesUpgrade outdated systems with new technology, including controllers and interfaces.
- Improve energy efficiency and performance through modern components.
- Retrofit existing lifts with safety and performance enhancements.
