As a Manager of Data Architecture at JPMorgan Chase within the Consumer & Community Banking, you will oversee several data architecture teams, guiding them through daily implementation tasks. Your role involves identifying and addressing issues, ensuring compliance with standards, meeting business requirements, and applying tactical best practices to your team's work..

Job responsibilities

 

• Provides guidance to immediate team of data architects on daily tasks and activities
• Sets overall guidance and expectations for team output, practices, and collaboration
• Anticipates dependencies with other teams to deliver data architecture solutions in line with business requirements
• Manages stakeholder relationships and the team’s work in accordance with compliance standards, service level agreements, and business requirements
• Creates a culture of diversity, opportunity, inclusion, and respect for team members and prioritizes diverse representation

 

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

 

•  Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 5+ years applied experience. In addition, demonstrated coaching and mentoring experience    
• Experience leading data architecture projects
• Experience managing data architects  
• Proficiency in automation and continuous delivery methods
• Proficiency in all aspects of the Software Development Life Cycle
• Advanced understanding of data architecture methodologies
• In-depth knowledge of the financial services industry and their IT systems
• Practical cloud native experience
• Experience working at code level
