Role Overview

The Measurement Technician is responsible for visiting residential and commercial sites to take precise technical measurements for window treatments, wall coverings, and flooring. You serve as the technical link between the Sales Consultant and the Installation team.

Key Responsibilities

• Site Measurement: Visit client locations to take exact dimensions for curtains (rod-to-floor), blinds (inner/outer mount), wallpapers (wall area), and wooden flooring.
• Technical Sketching: Create detailed hand-drawn sketches or digital notes of windows and walls, noting any obstructions like AC units, pipes, or electrical points.
• Product Consultation: Confirm on-site whether the chosen product (e.g., a specific motorized blind or heavy curtain track) is structurally feasible for the client's walls/ceilings.
• Client Interaction: Act as a professional representative of Darpan Furnishings on-site, answering basic technical queries and maintaining a polite demeanor.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Education: Minimum 10th/Inter or ITI/Diploma in Civil/Interior Design is preferred.
• Experience: 1–3 years of experience in measuring for curtains, blinds, or interior fit-outs.
• Math Skills: Must be highly proficient in calculating inches, centimeters, and square feet/meters.
• Tools: Expertise in using traditional tape measures and digital laser distance meters.
• Communication: Ability to speak Telugu and basic English/Hindi to communicate with clients and team members.
• Mobility: Must own a two-wheeler and have a valid driving license for daily travel across Hyderabad.

Compensation & Benefits

• Fixed Salary: ₹15,000 – ₹18,000 per month.
• Allowances: Competitive fuel and mobile reimbursement.
