Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced and proactive Purchase Manager to manage procurement operations for our new medical stores In Hyderabad . The ideal candidate will have strong pharmaceutical sourcing knowledge, excellent vendor networks, negotiation skills, and the ability to ensure uninterrupted supply of medicines, consumables, and healthcare products at optimal cost and quality.

• Key Responsibilities:Plan, manage, and execute procurement of medicines, surgicals, and pharmacy consumables for hospital medical stores
• Identify reliable suppliers, distributors, and manufacturers and negotiate best pricing, credit terms, and delivery timelines
• Ensure continuous stock availability while minimizing expiry, dead stock, and overstocking
• Handle urgent, emergency, and short-supply situations efficiently with alternative sourcing
• Verify purchase orders, GRNs, invoices, and compliance with statutory norms
• Maintain strong vendor relationships and evaluate supplier performance periodically
• Coordinate with pharmacists, store managers, and finance teams for smooth operations
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies, drug regulations, and audit requirements
• Monitor market trends, pricing changes, and new product launches
• Desired Skills & Competencies:Strong pharmaceutical procurement knowledge and vendor network
• Excellent negotiation and cost-control skills
• Ability to handle pressure situations and stock emergencies
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Good communication and vendor management abilities
• Proficient in ERP / pharmacy inventory software
• Qualifications & Experience:Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy, Commerce, Supply Chain, or related field (B.Pharm preferred)
• 5+ years of experience in hospital pharmacy procurement / medical store purchasing
• Experience working with multi-location hospitals or retail pharmacy chains preferred

Salary and Compensation:Salary :₹ 70,000 -₹75,000 

As per industry standards and experience.
