MIS Job Profile (Management Information System)

An MIS professional is responsible for collecting, processing, analyzing, and reporting data to support management decision-making.

• Key ResponsibilitiesCollect data from various departments/systems
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly MIS reports
• Maintain databases, spreadsheets, and dashboards
• Analyze trends, performance, and variances
• Ensure data accuracy and consistency
• Automate reports where possible
• Share insights with management and stakeholders
• Common MIS ReportsSales & revenue reports
• Operations & productivity reports
• Financial summaries
• HR and attendance reports
• Inventory and performance dashboards
• Skills RequiredStrong Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, formulas)
• Knowledge of Google Sheets, Power BI, Tableau (preferred)
• Basic SQL or database knowledge (optional but valuable)
• Data analysis and attention to detail
• Communication and reporting skills
• QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Business, IT, Commerce, Management, or related field
