Job Summary:

The MIS Executive is responsible for collecting, analyzing, and presenting data to help management make informed decisions. This role involves preparing reports, dashboards, and business insights using various tools and ensuring data accuracy and timeliness.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Data Collection & Management

• Gather data from multiple sources including ERP, CRM, HRMS, and accounting software.
• Maintain databases, spreadsheets, and reporting templates.
• Ensure data accuracy, completeness, and consistency.

2. MIS Reporting

• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly management reports.
• Generate financial, operational, and performance reports.
• Create dashboards using Excel,Good at Pivot Tables or Tableau to visualize key metrics.

3. Analysis & Insights

• Analyze trends, KPIs, and performance metrics.
• Provide actionable insights to management for decision-making.
• Highlight anomalies or issues in data and suggest solutions.

4. Process Improvement

• Identify gaps in data collection and reporting processes.
• Automate repetitive reporting tasks wherever possible.
• Implement best practices for data integrity and reporting efficiency.

5. Coordination

• Work with finance, HR, operations, and sales teams for data verification.
• Support audits by providing required reports and documents.
• Train other team members on MIS reporting procedures if needed.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Finance, Statistics, Business Analytics, or related field.
• Technical Skills:
• Advanced Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Macros)
• Familiarity with BI tools like Power BI, Tableau, or Google Data Studio is a plus
• Soft Skills:
• Analytical thinking and problem-solving
• Attention to detail
• Good communication skills
• Ability to meet deadlines and work independently

Experience:

• 1–3 years of experience in MIS, reporting, or data analysis role.
• Experience in finance, accounting, or operations reporting preferred.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):

• Timely submission of MIS reports
• Accuracy of data and reports
• Number of automated reports/dashboards implemented
• Feedback from management on report usefulness
