The company specializes in innovative, robust, and energy-efficient engineered membrane diffusers, including fine bubble diffusers, coarse bubble diffusers, and aeration systems. SSI Aeration focuses on solutions for both industrial wastewater treatment plants and sewage treatment plants.

Job Summary

Responsible for managing and optimizing daily operations, including production, logistics, procurement, and inventory. Ensures timely material availability, quality control, and cost efficiency while driving process improvements, automation, and ERP utilization. Collaborates with cross-functional teams to meet business goals and fosters a culture of safety and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement operational strategies aligned with company goals.
  • Ensure smooth day-to-day functioning of production, logistics, and support teams.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Finance, and technical teams to meet customer commitments.
  • Oversee procurement, inventory control, and vendor management.
  • Ensure timely availability of materials and optimize stock levels.
  • Monitor quality control processes and implement corrective actions when needed.
  • Identify inefficiencies and implement process improvements to enhance productivity.
  • Drive cost reduction initiatives without compromising quality
  • Support new projects and expansions with operational readiness.
  • Leverage ERP systems and digital tools for operational efficiency.
  • Drive automation initiatives were feasible.
  • Foster a culture of safety, compliance, and continuous improvement.

 

Basic Qualifications

  • Engineering Graduate in Mechanical Engineering

 

Travel & Work Arrangements/Requirements

This position requires travel to the factory 2 – 3 times of the week depending on the work. Factory is about 40min drive from office.

 

Key Competencies

  • Ability to analyze operational data and implement efficiency improvements.
  • Comfort with data-driven decision-making and remote monitoring.
  • Effective coordination with Sales, Procurement, and technical teams.
  • Clear reporting to senior management and regulatory bodies.
  • Experience in similar functions 3 – 5 years
  • Familiarity with TSPCB compliance and ISO standards.
