We are seeking an experienced Oracle HCM Techno Functional Consultant with strong functional expertise and some of the technical skills to support the redesign and build of integrations between Workday and Oracle HCM Cloud.

This role will play a critical part in analyzing current-state integrations, defining future-state design, and ensuring seamless data flow between systems during and after the transformation initiative. The ideal candidate brings deep Oracle HCM Techno functional knowledge, understands HR business processes end-to-end, and can collaborate effectively with technical integration teams.

Key Responsibilities

Functional Requirement

• Drive functional analysis workshops with HR, Payroll, Finance, and IT stakeholders.
• Gather and document business requirements related to HR data, payroll, benefits, compensation, and core HR processes.
• Translate business requirements into functional design documents (FDDs).
• Define data mapping requirements between Workday and Oracle HCM.
• Validate integration logic aligns with Oracle HCM configuration and business rules.
• Provide guidance on Oracle HCM best practices and standard functionality.
  

Integration & Technical Collaboration

• Support redesign of inbound and outbound integrations between Workday and Oracle HCM.
• Collaborate with integration developers working with tools such as HDL, HCM Extracts, REST/SOAP APIs, and middleware platforms.
• Review technical design documents (TDDs) to ensure functional alignment.
• Assist with data transformation logic, validation rules, and error handling design.
• Support integration testing cycles (SIT, UAT, Parallel Testing).
• Troubleshoot integration defects and provide root cause analysis.
  

Testing & Deployment

• Develop test scenarios and test scripts aligned to business processes.
• Coordinate and support end-to-end testing across systems.
• Validate data accuracy, completeness, and reconciliation between systems.
• Support cutover planning, data migration validation, and go-live activities.
• Provide post-go-live stabilization support.
  

Required Skills & Experience

Functional Expertise

• 5+ years of hands-on experience with Oracle HCM Cloud (Core HR required; Payroll, Benefits, or Compensation preferred).
• Strong understanding of HR data structures, worker lifecycle, and payroll interfaces. Experience working on cross-system HR integrations.
• Ability to interpret and configure Oracle HCM modules.
  

Technical/Integration Knowledge

• Working knowledge of:
• HDL (HCM Data Loader)
• HCM Extracts
• REST/SOAP APIs
• Fast Formula
• Middleware platforms (e.g., OIC, MuleSoft)
• Understanding of integration patterns (real-time, batch, file-based). Familiarity with data mapping, transformation logic, and XML/JSON structures.
  

Professional Skills

• Strong stakeholder engagement and workshop facilitation skills.
• Ability to bridge functional and technical teams.
• Excellent documentation skills (BRD, FDD, TDD review).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Experience working in transformation or system redesign projects.
  

Nice to Have

• Experience in Workday HCM configuration or integration.
• Previous involvement in Workday-to-Oracle migration or coexistence environments.
• Knowledge of HR data privacy and compliance requirements.
• Experience in global HR implementations.
• Oracle HCM Cloud certification (preferred). Integration or middleware certifications (advantageous).
