Project Role : Packaged/SaaS Application Engineer
Project Role Description : Configure and support packaged or SaaS applications to adapt features, manage releases, and ensure system stability. Use standard tools, APIs, and low-code platforms to align solutions with business needs while preserving compatibility and performance.
Must have skills : Project Management Office (PMO) Mobilization & Run
Good to have skills : SQL scripting
Minimum 12 year(s) of experience is required
Educational Qualification : 15 years full time education

Summary:
The Transition Manager will be responsible for end-to-end transition of a SAP S/4HANA Greenfield implementation from the project/hypercare phase to the Application Maintenance (AMS) team. This role ensures knowledge continuity, operational readiness, risk mitigation, and service stability while establishing a robust Run model aligned with agreed SLAs and governance.

Key Responsibilities
Transition Planning & Governance
- Define and own the transition strategy and roadmap from Hypercare to AMS
- Establish transition governance, milestones, and success criteria
- Act as the single point of contact between Implementation, Hypercare, AMS, Client, and SI teams.
- Ensure transition aligns with contractual SLAs, OLAs, and support models
Knowledge Transfer (KT) & Documentation
- Plan, track, and govern end-to-end Knowledge Transfer across functional, technical, and integration streams
- Ensure completeness and quality of:
-Solution design documents
-Configuration workbooks
-Custom developments (RICEFW)
- Interface & integration documentation
-Security, roles, and authorization artifacts
-Job scheduling and batch operations
-Validate KT sign-off from AMS teams
Operational Readiness
- Ensure AMS team readiness across:
- Incident, Problem, Change, and Release Management
- SAP Solution Manager / ITSM tools
-Monitoring (AIF, IDoc, CPI, background jobs)
- Define and validate Run Books, SOPs, escalation paths, and support calendars
-Confirm cutover closure and stabilization metrics before transition exit
Risk & Issue Management
- Identify and mitigate transition risks (knowledge gaps, unresolved defects, - - tooling readiness)
- Track and manage open defects, known errors, and technical debt
- Ensure clear ownership handover for post-transition issues
Stakeholder & Communication Management
- Conduct regular transition status reviews with internal and client stakeholders
- Provide clear reporting on:
- Transition progress
-Risks and dependencies
- Readiness indicators
- Support audits and compliance requirements
Service Acceptance & Exit
- Drive Service Acceptance Criteria (SAC) and formal transition sign-off
- Ensure stable operations post-handover
- Provide early-life support oversight during initial AMS takeover
