Pastry Head Chef

About the Role-We are looking for a creative and experienced Pastry Head Chef to lead our bakery & pastry section. You will be responsible for menu creation, recipe development, production management, quality control, inventory handling, and training the pastry team.

• Key Responsibilities-Lead and manage the pastry & bakery kitchen operations.
• Develop new, innovative dessert and bakery items aligned with brand standards.
• Maintain high-quality taste, texture, presentation, and consistency in all products.
• Oversee daily production schedules to ensure timely supply for outlets/counters.
• Ensure proper hygiene, sanitation, and compliance with FSSAI and internal standards.
• Train and mentor pastry team members including CDPs, Commis, Helpers.
• Manage ordering of raw materials and control food cost, wastage, and inventory levels.
• Work closely with management for menu planning, seasonal offerings, and promotions.
• Conduct regular tasting sessions and maintain recipe documentation.
• Requirements6+ years of experience in Pastry & Bakery, including at least 2 years in a leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of cakes, desserts, breads, viennoiserie, and premium pastry techniques.
• Ability to design menus and develop signature products.
• Good leadership, time management, and communication skills.
• Experience in café, bakery, hotel, patisserie, or premium restaurant setups preferred.
• Knowledge of costing, batch planning, and production scaling is required.
