Job Description: Patient Counselor – Cancer Care

We are seeking a qualified and empathetic professional to join our team as a Patient Counselor. The role involves direct interaction with patients, providing guidance, counseling, and support throughout their treatment journey ON- CALL CONSULTATION.

Key Responsibilities:

• Address patient queries over calls and provide professional, well-informed counseling.
• Counsel patients regarding cancer treatments, associated costs, diagnostics, and therapies.
• Understand patient concerns and resolve them effectively to instill confidence.
• Conduct regular follow-ups with connected patients to encourage treatment adherence.
• Collaborate with doctors and coordinators to gather treatment-related information and ensure accurate communication with patients.
• Report daily updates on patient interactions and actions taken to the team lead.

Desired Candidate Profile:

• B.Sc (Bio Tech, Micro Biology, Nursing, Nutrition), M.Sc (Bio Tech,Micro Biology, Nursing, Nutrition) qualification with 0–5 years of experience in patient interaction (direct or indirect).
• Experience in assisting patients with precautions, diet plans, medications, and motivation.
• Strong communication skills with a polite and empathetic approach to patient handling.
• Proven experience in patient counseling through phone calls or in-person interactions.
• Candidates from other states willing to relocate to Hyderabad are preferred.
• Immediate joiners and candidates proficient in multiple languages (Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Kannada, Bengali) will be given priority.
