There are five aspects to Performance Engineering: software development lifecycle and architecture, performance testing and validation, capacity planning, application performance management and problem detection and resolution.

Summary:
As a Performance Engineer, you will engage in a dynamic environment where you will be responsible for diagnosing complex issues that the in-house performance testing team has been unable to resolve. Your typical day will involve collaborating with various teams to analyze performance metrics, conducting thorough assessments of application performance, and implementing solutions to enhance system efficiency. You will also participate in discussions regarding software development lifecycle and architecture, ensuring that performance considerations are integrated into the development process. Your role will require a proactive approach to problem detection and resolution, contributing to the overall success of performance engineering initiatives.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
- Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
- Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify performance bottlenecks and recommend improvements.
- Conduct performance testing and validation to ensure applications meet required standards.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in SAP MM Materials Management.
- Strong understanding of performance testing methodologies and tools.
- Experience with capacity planning and application performance management.
- Ability to analyze and interpret performance metrics effectively.
- Familiarity with problem detection and resolution techniques.

Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in SAP MM Materials Management.
- This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
