Job Description
- Key ResponsibilitiesDispense prescription medications accurately to patients.
- Review prescriptions to ensure correctness and legality.
- Provide advice to patients on the proper use, dosage, and side effects of medications.
- Maintain proper storage and inventory of medicines and pharmaceutical supplies.
- Monitor expiry dates and ensure safe disposal of expired drugs.
- Maintain records of prescriptions and pharmacy transactions.
- Coordinate with doctors and healthcare staff regarding medication requirements.
- Ensure compliance with pharmacy laws, regulations, and safety standards.
- Handle billing and maintain pharmacy documentation.
- Provide excellent customer service to patients and healthcare staff.
- Required QualificationsBachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm) / Diploma in Pharmacy (D.Pharm).
- Valid Pharmacist Registration License with the Pharmacy Council.
- Experience0–3 years of experience in hospital or retail pharmacy (Freshers may also apply).
- Key SkillsKnowledge of pharmaceutical drugs and dosage
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Inventory and stock management
- Basic computer knowledge (pharmacy software, MS Office)
