Job Role:

Key Responsibilities

• Rapid Order Picking: Use the Zepto partner app to locate items across the store’s smart-aisle system. Maintain high speed to ensure the order is ready for the rider instantly.
• Quality Inspection: Check every item for freshness (for fruits/veg), expiry dates, and packaging integrity before hitting the "packed" button.
• Smart Categorization: Pack orders logically—separating heavy items from fragile ones and keeping "Cold Chain" items (milk, ice cream) in specialized bags.
• Inventory Inwarding: Assist in unloading stock from supply trucks and organizing it into the correct bins so the next picker can find them easily.
• Store Hygiene: Keep the floor and packing station clutter-free to prevent accidents and ensure food safety standards.
• Pick-to-Pack Time: Average time taken to fulfill one order (Target: Under 2 mins).
• Order Accuracy: Percentage of orders sent without missing or incorrect items.
• Zero-Damage Rate: Ensuring items reach the customer without leaks or bruises.
