Pre-Primary Teacher

Job Summary:

A Pre-Primary Teacher is responsible for nurturing young children (ages 2–5 years) by creating a safe, engaging, and stimulating learning environment. The teacher supports early childhood development through play-based learning, foundational academics, and social skill building.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and implement age-appropriate lesson plans and activities.
• Create a warm, welcoming, and child-friendly classroom environment.
• Teach basic concepts such as alphabets, numbers, colors, shapes, and phonics.
• Develop children’s social, emotional, cognitive, and motor skills.
• Use creative teaching methods including storytelling, music, art, and play.
• Monitor and assess each child’s progress regularly.
• Maintain classroom discipline in a positive and supportive manner.
• Communicate effectively with parents regarding child development and progress.
• Ensure the safety and well-being of all students.
• Organize and participate in school events, celebrations, and activities.
• Maintain student records and prepare progress reports.
