Inviting applications for the role of [Principal Consultant], [Principal QA Performance & Automation Architect] 

We are looking for a senior, hands-on technical leader to design and implement the next generation of our Quality Engineering strategy. This role blends performance engineering, test automation architecture, and AI-driven solutions to address complex quality challenges in our healthcare product suite. 

As the thought leader and subject matter expert, you will define the roadmap, build proof-of-concepts, write code, mentor engineers, and ensure our systems scale efficiently while meeting strict healthcare compliance standards.

Responsibilities 

• Define and own the end-to-end QA automation and performance testing strategy and roadmap for EverHealth’s product portfolio. 

• Architect and maintain scalable, resilient test automation frameworks for UI, API, and mobile applications. 

• Establish and track KPIs/SLOs for performance engineering (load, stress, scalability, endurance testing). 

• Evaluate, select, and implement modern tools for automation, performance testing, and test data management. 

• Lead by example with hands-on development of automation scripts, performance scenarios, and frameworks. 

• Perform deep-dive performance analysis, identify bottlenecks, and collaborate with Dev/DevOps to deliver high-performance solutions. 

• Integrate automation and performance testing within CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps). 

• Review QA engineers’ code to ensure testability, maintainability, and efficiency. 

• Innovate by integrating AI/ML in testing processes (predictive analytics, test case prioritization, anomaly detection). 

• Develop AI-powered solutions for test data generation, visual regression, and self-healing scripts. 

• Stay ahead of industry trends and drive adoption of AI-driven quality practices. 

• Mentor and coach QA engineers, fostering technical excellence and continuous improvement. 

• Collaborating with Product, Architecture, and Development leads to embed quality into design and delivery. 

• Participate in architectural reviews, advising on performance, scalability, and testability. 

• Ensure all testing practices comply with healthcare regulations (HIPAA, HITECH). 

• Incorporate security and vulnerability testing into performance and automation strategy. 

Qualifications we seek in you! 

Minimum Qualifications 

• Expert-level, hands-on proficiency with modern performance testing tools, with mandatory, in-depth experience using K6. Experience with other tools such as Gatling, JMeter, or LoadRunner is a significant plus. 

• Proven experience designing and building test automation frameworks from scratch using tools like Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or Appium. 

• Strong programming skills in one or more languages such as Python, Java, or C#. 

• Deep experience with API testing methodologies and tools (Postman, REST Assured). 

• Demonstrated knowledge and practical application of AI/ML concepts within a software testing context. 

• Extensive experience with CI/CD pipeline integration and DevOps principles. 

• Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes). 

Preferred Qualifications/ Skills 

• Prior experience in the healthcare technology (HealthTech) industry is a must. A deep understanding of the healthcare domain, including knowledge of EHR/EMR systems, patient data security, and HIPAA regulations is critical. 

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. 

• Experience leading quality initiatives across multiple product lines or in a portfolio-based company. 

• Familiarity with interoperability standards like HL7 and FHIR.
