Product Manager – Oracle Cloud Financials (AI/ML/GenAI Focus)

We are seeking an experienced and forward-thinking Product Manager to lead the development of next-generation, cloud-based, data-driven financial applications. This role is pivotal in shaping product strategy, driving execution, and delivering innovation within our Financials Cloud suite, with a strong emphasis on integrating AI/ML and Generative AI technologies.

The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker and hands-on leader, with a proven ability to translate customer and market insights into actionable solutions that leverage the power of automation, intelligence, and cutting-edge user experiences. You’ll collaborate cross-functionally to ensure delivery of high-quality products that solve real customer problems and deliver measurable business value.

• Strategic Ownership & Roadmap Influence
  • Lead discussions with senior management to understand product vision, strategic priorities, and project scope.
  • Translate business objectives and customer needs into product strategy and prioritized backlogs, with a clear roadmap for innovation using AI/ML/GenAI.
• Customer-Centric Product Planning
  • Serve as a liaison between strategy, engineering, and customers to ensure 360° understanding of business processes and needs.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance product value through intelligent automation, anomaly detection, NLP interfaces, and GenAI-driven user assistance.
• Solution Design & Innovation
  • Deliver high-quality product design documents, incorporating:
    • AI/ML and GenAI-driven features (e.g., smart recommendations, predictive analytics, automated data extraction, contextual help).
    • Robustness, extensibility, cloud-operational excellence (recoverability, restartability), and backward compatibility.
    • Detailed wireframes, user personas, workflows, and dependency mapping.
• Product Development & Execution
  • Define MVP scope with a focus on value delivery and customer commitments.
  • Collaborate with engineering to validate solution architecture and ensure alignment with finalized designs.
  • Ensure comprehensive testing strategy, especially for AI-driven components, addressing accuracy, fairness, and transparency.
• Internal & External Enablement
  • Partner with technical writing and enablement teams to deliver launch documentation, including What’s New guides, New Feature Summaries, and Training-on-Demand (TOI) materials.
  • Evangelize product features internally (Dev, QA, Support, Consulting, Sales, etc.) and externally (customers, partners, analysts).

Preferred Qualifications

• 12+ years of experience in Product Management for enterprise software applications.
• Strong domain expertise in Financials/ERP or B2B cloud applications.
• Education: Degree level (BS/MS/PhD): BE/BTech/MTech, Major(s): Any of these or related: Computer Science/Engineering, Software Systems, Management and Engineering, Information and Data Management, Artificial Intelligence, Business Management, Business Finance, Financial educational background like CA, ICWA, MBA (Finance) etc., is very much desirable. The successful applicant should have in-depth understanding of financial flows and business processes involved in finance management.
• Proven experience in building or managing products that leverage AI/ML/GenAI technologies.
• Familiarity with AI/ML frameworks, NLP models, or GenAI 
• Experience in agile development methodologies and DevOps environments.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and leadership skills with a track record of delivering impactful results.
• A passion for emerging technologies and driving product innovation.
