Prior Authorization And Verification Associate

Responsibilities:

• Verify patient insurance eligibility and benefits prior to scheduled visits or procedures.
• Confirm coverage for exams, diagnostic tests (OCT, visual fields, etc.), and surgical procedures.
• Document copays, deductibles, coinsurance, and authorization requirements.
• Maintain up-to-date records for compliance and billing accuracy.
• Obtain prior authorizations and referrals from insurance companies, monitor and update orders, provide clinical information for authorizations.
• Monitors and updates current Orders and Tasks to provide up-to-date and accurate information.
• Provides insurance company with clinical information necessary to secure prior-authorization or referral.
• Obtains and/or reviews patient insurance information and eligibility verification to obtain prior authorizations for injections, DME, Procedures, and surgeries.

Preferred candidate profile

Qualifications:

• Must be graduate.
• Must have good command over English.
• Ability to manage multiple requests with high accuracy
• Flexible to work in night shift and meet performance targets.
