Position Overview We are looking for an experienced and highly organized Production Manager to oversee end-to-end factory operations. The candidate will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and controlling the manufacturing process to ensure production targets, quality standards, and delivery timelines are consistently met.

This role requires strong leadership, process optimization skills, and hands-on experience in woodworking or related manufacturing industries.

• Key Responsibilities1. Production Planning & Execution Develop daily, weekly, and monthly production plans.
• Ensure optimal utilization of manpower, machinery, and raw materials.
• Monitor production schedules and ensure on-time delivery of orders.
• Coordinate with sales and dispatch teams to align output with client deadlines.
• Quality Control Maintain strict quality standards for teak doors and frames.
• Implement SOPs for machining, finishing, and assembly.
• Minimize rejection rates and material wastage.
• Ensure final output meets premium B2B client expectations.
• Factory Operations Management Supervise all shop-floor activities including cutting, seasoning, machining, polishing, and finishing.
• Oversee CNC operations and ensure precision output.
• Monitor machine performance and coordinate preventive maintenance.
• Improve production efficiency through workflow optimization.
• Team Leadership Manage and supervise production supervisors and factory workers.
• Assign tasks and monitor performance.
• Train staff on safety, quality standards, and machine handling.
• Maintain discipline and productivity within the factory.
• Inventory & Raw Material Management Monitor teak wood inventory levels.
• Coordinate with procurement for timely raw material availability.
• Reduce wastage and optimize yield from imported teak logs.
• Safety & Compliance Ensure adherence to factory safety protocols.
• Maintain a safe and organized work environment.
• Ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements.
• Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical / Production / Industrial Engineering (preferred)
• 2–10 years of experience in manufacturing operations
• Experience in woodworking, furniture, doors, plywood, or related industry preferred
• Good understanding of CNC machinery and semi-automatic production systems
• Knowledge of production planning and inventory control
