Project Engineer

**Senior Project Engineer – HVACRoles & Responsibilities**

• 1. Project Planning & CoordinationPlan, schedule, and monitor HVAC project activities.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, and internal teams.
• Prepare project timelines, BOQs, material lists, and manpower planning.
• Conduct project kick-off meetings and allocate tasks to the team.
• 2. Design Review & Technical SupportReview HVAC drawings (Layout, Ducting, Piping, VRF/VRV, Chiller, AHU, FCU).
• Ensure design compliance with ASHRAE, ISHRAE, and project specifications.
• Provide technical guidance to junior engineers and supervisors.
• Resolve design conflicts by coordinating with architects and MEP teams.
• 3. Site Execution & SupervisionOversee execution of HVAC installation activities:

• Ducting
• Copper piping
• Chiller plants
• VRF/VRV systems
• Insulation
• AHU/FCU installation
• Fresh air & exhaust systems
• Conduct regular site inspections to ensure quality standards.
• Monitor subcontractor work and ensure proper installation as per approved drawings.
• 4. Material & Procurement ManagementPrepare material requirement sheets and issue purchase requests.
• Verify material specifications and inspect materials received at site.
• Coordinate with vendors for timely delivery of materials and equipment.
• 5. Quality & Safety ControlEnsure all works follow safety norms and quality standards.
• Conduct toolbox meetings and safety briefings.
• Implement QA/QC procedures and maintain checklists.
• 6. Testing, Commissioning & HandoverPlan and conduct testing and commissioning of HVAC systems.
• Troubleshoot system issues and ensure optimum performance.
• Prepare test reports, O&M manuals, and as-built drawings.
• Assist in final handover to the client.
• 7. Documentation & ReportingMaintain daily progress reports and site logs.
• Prepare weekly/monthly project progress reports.
• Update project status to management and client.
• 8. Team ManagementSupervise engineers, supervisors, technicians, and labour teams.
• Conduct on-site training and ensure productivity.
• Resolve technical issues on time to avoid delays.
