1. Cost Planning and Estimation- Should be responsible for preparing detailed estimates of costs for interior design work. to assist clients in realizing the cost implications of various designs and propose cost-effective solutions.

2. Procurement and Contract Administration-should ensure material and services are procured within competitive prices yet maintaining quality requirements, aiding in preparing contracts, negotiating suppliers and ensuring that the project unfolds without any interruption within the allocated budget and schedule.

3. Cost Control and Value Engineering with Interior design projects involving premium materials, custom furniture, and unique finishes. to analyse the costs and implements value engineering strategies to maintain quality while reducing unnecessary expenses. Identifying areas where savings can be made without compromising the design vision.

4. Financial Risk Management-to predict potential financial risks and provide solutions to mitigate them. By forecasting cash flow requirements and controlling expenses,helping avoid unexpected financial setbacks.

5. Managing Variations and Changes- assess the financial impact of any changes and ensures extra costs are justified and well managed.

6. Quality Assurance and Compliance-to ensure materials used in the project meet the required standards and codes by doing quality checks to ensure the project is compliant.
