QE Engineer

Experience: 5+ Years in Functional Testing, 4+ Years in Automation Testing using Playwright with JavaScript

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Quality Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in both manual and automation testing, with a strong focus on ensuring the highest quality of our software products.

Responsibilities:

• Automate functional, regression, and smoke tests using internal and open-source tools.
• Manage test cases, create test data, and automate bug captures.
• Measure test progress and publish daily and weekly status reports.
• Define test specifications for functional and integration testing.
• Collaborate with the DevOps team in the continuous build and deployment process.
• Report test coverage and participate in troubleshooting.
• Perform manual testing and coverage for new features that have not yet been automated, including Black Box and White Box testing.
• Create and maintain test plans as our product grows in functionality.
• Stay self-motivated and continuously learn new software tools and best practices in software quality assurance.

Requirements:

• Overall 5+ years of experience in functional testing.
• 4+ years of experience in automation testing using Playwright or any other automation framework
• Strong experience in test case management, test data creation, and automated bug captures.
• Proven ability to measure test progress and publish status reports.
• Experience defining test specifications for functional and integration testing.
•  Ability to work collaboratively with the DevOps team in continuous build and deployment processes.
• Proficiency in reporting test coverage and participating in troubleshooting.
• Experience in manual testing, including Black Box and White Box testing.
• Ability to create and maintain test plans.
• Self-motivated with a strong desire to learn new software tools and best practices.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
