CAD Support and BOQ preparation

·        Liaise with the Design team, obtain, review the design drawings and thereafter prepare detailed shop drawings in 2D format; review drawings with CAD Manager and obtain approval

·        Review CAD drawings and take out actual quantity and thereafter prepare bill of quantity (BOQ)

·        Discuss BOQ with CAD Manager, understand client requirement with material specifications

Procurement Activities

·        Once the design fee proposal is approved, contact vendors as per projects requirements, obtain quotes, negotiate price, develop comparative analysis on vendors’ quotes, review prices with Design Manager and finalize a vendor that meets the requirement in terms of price and material specs

·        Prepare purchase orders, once a vendor is finalized, obtain approval on the PO as per authority matrix and forward to concerned vendors

·        Monitor and track material delivery, ensure all material delivered are inspected at the site by the project team and that the DO is signed

·        Review and approve material requests (as per authority matrix), track material usage and update the material tracker

·        Raise and submit vendors’ payment request to Finance team

Project Costing

·        Contact Suppliers and obtain material quotes; prepare cost estimates; discuss with Assistant Design Manager and obtain approval on the project cost

Project cost control and analysis

·        At the completion of projects, receive completion notice from the Project Architect, analysis task completed v/s contract and prepare a report to Management on certifying that all contractual agreements are fulfilled

·        Review project performance report, milestone achievement and match against the approved contract, and thereafter advice the Project and Finance team on contractual claims

·        Prepare weekly project cash flow in coordination with accounts and projects team

·        Prepare and maintain payment schedule sheet as per project progress and follow up with projects team for payments; confirm receipt of payment with Finance team and update the payment tracker accordingly

·        Upon project completion, prepare and analyze actual project cost v/s forecast, and thereafter present to management for mitigating future re-occurrence in case of negative margins 

·        Maintain accurate documentation of DFP & Project list.
