QUNTITY SURVEYOR MEP/ ELECTRICALS

Job Summary:

VW Electricals is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Quantity Surveyor (QS) to oversee project sites, monitor work progress, and manage billing processes. The ideal candidate will ensure accurate measurement, documentation, and cost control across all ongoing projects.

Key Roles and Responsibilities:

• Regularly monitor and verify work progress at all project sites.
• Prepare, review, and follow up on client and subcontractor bills.
• Validate site measurements, quantities, and BOQs with project drawings.
• Coordinate with project teams, procurement, and accounts for smooth billing operations.
• Prepare cost estimates, rate analyses, and quantity take-offs for new projects.
• Ensure compliance with company billing and documentation standards.
• Maintain accurate records of material consumption, cost reports, and reconciliations.
• Assist management in financial forecasting, cost control, and project evaluations.

Key Skills and Competencies:

1. Strong knowledge of electrical project billing and site measurement
2. Proficiency in MS Excel, AutoCAD, and billing software/tools.
3. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
4. Strong communication and coordination abilities.
5. Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):

1. 100% accuracy in measurement and billing documentation. And Ensure zero delays in material reconciliati and site reporting.
2. Timely submission of all bills as per project schedule.
3. Maintain project cost variance within ±5% of approved budget.
