Job Description

Position: Regional Sales Manager – GT Sales Expansion

Location: AP - Hyderabad

Department: Sales

Reporting To: CMO


About the Role

We are seeking a dynamic and result-oriented Regional Sales Manager to lead and expand our General Trade (GT) sales network. This role will focus on driving revenue growth, enhancing market penetration, and building a strong distributor/retailer ecosystem in the assigned region.


Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute GT sales strategies to achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
  • Appoint, manage, and strengthen distributor and retailer networks across the region.
  • Drive numeric & weighted distribution expansion in line with company objectives.
  • Implement trade marketing & visibility initiatives to increase brand recall.
  • Monitor secondary sales, stock management, and credit control with distributors.
  • Recruit, train, and motivate the field sales team (Sales Officers/Executives).
  • Build strong relationships with trade partners and ensure high ROI for distributors.
  • Conduct regular market visits to track competitor activities, new opportunities, and consumer trends.
  • Provide timely MIS reports, sales forecasts, and actionable insights to management.


Requirements

  • Graduate/MBA with 3–10 years of FMCG GT sales experience (beverages/food preferred).
  • Proven track record of driving GT expansion and managing distributors/ss.
  • Strong leadership, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
  • Ability to analyze sales data and translate it into actionable strategies.
  • Proactive, target-driven, and comfortable with extensive travel.
