Job Description
Position: Regional Sales Manager – GT Sales Expansion
Location: AP - Hyderabad
Department: Sales
Reporting To: CMO
About the Role
We are seeking a dynamic and result-oriented Regional Sales Manager to lead and expand our General Trade (GT) sales network. This role will focus on driving revenue growth, enhancing market penetration, and building a strong distributor/retailer ecosystem in the assigned region.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute GT sales strategies to achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
- Appoint, manage, and strengthen distributor and retailer networks across the region.
- Drive numeric & weighted distribution expansion in line with company objectives.
- Implement trade marketing & visibility initiatives to increase brand recall.
- Monitor secondary sales, stock management, and credit control with distributors.
- Recruit, train, and motivate the field sales team (Sales Officers/Executives).
- Build strong relationships with trade partners and ensure high ROI for distributors.
- Conduct regular market visits to track competitor activities, new opportunities, and consumer trends.
- Provide timely MIS reports, sales forecasts, and actionable insights to management.
Requirements
- Graduate/MBA with 3–10 years of FMCG GT sales experience (beverages/food preferred).
- Proven track record of driving GT expansion and managing distributors/ss.
- Strong leadership, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
- Ability to analyze sales data and translate it into actionable strategies.
- Proactive, target-driven, and comfortable with extensive travel.
