Safety Officer

Implement and maintain safety policies, procedures, and programs at the site.

Conduct daily toolbox talks and regular safety training sessions for site personnel.

Carry out site safety inspections and report unsafe acts and conditions.

Ensure proper use of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) by all workers.

Investigate incidents, near misses, and accidents; prepare and submit reports with corrective actions.

Maintain safety documentation, permits, and inspection records.

Coordinate with site engineers and project managers to enforce safety standards.

Ensure compliance with local safety laws and statutory requirements.

Display safety signages and ensure emergency preparedness at site (firefighting, first aid, etc.).

Promote a culture of safety awareness and continuous improvement.

Skills and Competencies:

Strong knowledge of construction site safety practices and regulations.

Good communication and reporting skills.

Ability to identify potential hazards and take preventive actions.

Knowledge of incident investigation and root cause analysis.
