Job Description

  • Key Responsibilities1. B2B Client AcquisitionIdentify and onboard new:

  • Retail jewellery stores
  • Wholesalers / distributors
  • Expand company presence in assigned territories or markets
  • Build a strong pipeline of potential B2B buyers
  • 2. Relationship ManagementMaintain long-term relationships with existing clients
  • Act as the primary point of contact for:

  • Orders
  • Design requirements
  • Pricing discussions
  • Delivery timelines
  • Ensure high client satisfaction and repeat business
  • 3. Order Generation & Follow-upsPresent collections (physical / catalogue / digital)
  • Convert inquiries into confirmed orders
  • Follow up on:

  • Sampling approvals
  • Order confirmations
  • Pending payments
  • Coordinate closely with production and dispatch teams
  • 4. Product & Market KnowledgeUnderstand and communicate:

  • Jewellery designs, weights, and pricing structures
  • Market trends and customer preferences
  • Provide market feedback to design and production teams
  • 5. Sales Targets & Revenue GrowthAchieve assigned monthly / quarterly / annual sales targets
  • Increase average order value and frequency per client
  • Focus on profitable product mix and margin discipline
  • 6. Pricing & NegotiationNegotiate pricing within approved margins
  • Handle trade discounts, schemes, and credit terms as per company policy
  • Ensure no unauthorized commitments to clients
  • 7. Payment & Credit Control SupportEnsure timely payment collection from clients
  • Coordinate with accounts team for:

  • Outstanding follow-ups
  • Credit limit adherence
  • Escalate payment risks promptly
  • 8. Trade Shows & Market VisitsRepresent the company at:

  • Jewellery exhibitions
  • Trade shows
  • Market visits
  • Conduct regular client visits for relationship strengthening
  • 9. Reporting & DocumentationMaintain records of:

  • Client interactions
  • Orders and follow-ups
  • Market intelligence
  • Submit periodic sales reports to management
  • Required Skills & CompetenciesStrong B2B sales and negotiation skills
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building ability
  • Deep understanding of jewellery trade practices
  • Ability to handle objections and close deals
  • Self-driven, target-oriented, and disciplined
  • Willingness to travel extensively
  • Experience & QualificationsMinimum 2–8 years experience in B2B jewellery sales
  • Prior experience dealing with retail jewellers / wholesalers mandatory
  • Knowledge of gold jewellery pricing, making charges, and trade margins preferred
  • Graduate preferred; experience valued over formal education
  • Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)Sales revenue achieved vs target
  • Number of active B2B clients
  • Repeat order rate
  • Payment collection efficiency
  • Market expansion and new client acquisition
  • Work EnvironmentField-intensive role with frequent travel
