Summary:
As a Security Consulting Practitioner, you will advise clients on their business protection journey by shaping security strategy, designing solutions, and providing guidance to strengthen cyber resilience. Your typical day will involve engaging with clients to understand their unique security needs, collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop tailored security solutions, and providing expert insights to enhance their overall security posture. You will also stay updated on the latest security trends and technologies to ensure that your recommendations are relevant and effective in addressing emerging threats.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME.
- Collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Facilitate training sessions to enhance team knowledge and skills.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure their security needs are met.
Lead the SOC team and providing technical guidance to team .
Help Investigate and respond to complex security incidents escalated by L1/l2 analysts.
Help team on deep-dive analysis identify malicious activities
Act as an escalation point for incident response and for the projects
Collaborate all security teams in the project.
Review the work performed by SOC team and manage team end to end .
Ensure all the process adherences.
Own root cause analysis and recommend improvements to prevent recurrence.
Uplift and cross SOC team to enhance skills and productivity.
Manage shift rosters, ensure proper shift handovers and reporting.
Represent the team over weekly/monthly client calls


Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Azure Sentinel.
- Strong understanding of security frameworks and compliance standards.
- Experience with incident response and threat hunting.
- Knowledge of cloud security best practices and tools.
- Ability to analyze security incidents and provide actionable insights.
- 7-8 years of experience in SOC operations, incident response, or cybersecurity analysis, with at least 2 years in a lead.
- Strong hands-on expertise with SIEM tools (e.g., Sentinel ) well versed with SOC process
- Good understanding of attack techniques and tactics , malware behavior.
- Proficiency in log analysis, correlation, and scripting (Python, PowerShell, KQL).
- Excellent troubleshooting, problem-solving skills
- Should be flexible for working time and shifts
- Travel to other locations when required
- Approach and attitude to learn new technologies cross skilling, Upskilling
- Having relevant industry certification is plus
- Good Communication presentation skill


Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 7.5 years of experience in Microsoft Azure Sentinel.
- This position is based at our Hyderabad office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
