Senior Accountant

Role and Responsibilities:

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate books of accounts, including journal entries, ledgers, and reconciliations.
• Ensure compliance with statutory requirements such as GST, TDS, PF, ESI, and income tax filings
• Handle Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) transactions efficiently.
• Conduct bank, vendor, and customer reconciliations on a regular basis.
• Manage inventory accounting, track material consumption, and reconcile stock with stores and production departments.
• Prepare and process invoices, payments, and receipts in a timely manner.
• Assist auditors (internal and external) during audit processes by providing required data and documentation.
• Monitor expense reports and maintain accurate financial documentation.
• Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and internal controls.

Required Skills and Qualifications

·        Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

·        Minimum 2–5 years of experience in accounting within a manufacturing or production environment.

·        Strong knowledge of accounting standards and financial reporting.

·        Proficiency in Tally Prime, or similar accounting software.

·        Good skills in MS Excel

·        Good understanding of GST, TDS, and other statutory compliances.

·        Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications

• Certification in Tally / GST / Advanced Excel / Accounting Software.
• Knowledge of local tax regulations and compliance procedures

Work Environment

• Full-time, on-site role
• Standard working hours: Monday–Friday, 10:00 AM – 7:00 PM].
• Coordination required with stores, production, and procurement departments.
