Senior Accountant

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• To maintain accounting work in tally ERP 9.
• Knowledge of GST return, TDS, Taxation, ITR and Finance is must.
• Prepare and review financial statements and reports (monthly, quarterly, and annually).
• Manage general ledger operations and ensure accurate journal entries.
• Perform account reconciliations and maintain accurate financial records.
• Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes.
• Monitor and analyze accounting data and produce financial reports or statements.
• Ensure compliance with statutory law and financial regulations (e.g. GST, TDS, Income Tax).
• Coordinate internal and external audits, CA, CS and relevant professionals.
• Coordinate with Govt authorities like GST dept, Income tax dept for account related work.
• Support month-end and year-end close process.
• Assist in tax filings and liaise with auditors and tax consultants.
• Implement and improve accounting systems and processes.
• Supervise and mentor junior accounting staff.

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS:

• Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Master’s or CA/CPA preferred).
• Minimum of 5+ years of accounting experience, preferably in a senior or supervisory role.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Proficient in accounting software (Tally).
• Advanced Excel skills and strong analytical abilities and decision-making skills.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
