*Job Summary:*

The Senior Accounts Manager is responsible for managing the overall accounting operations of the dealership, including financial reporting, budgeting, taxation, and compliance. The role requires strong experience in automobile dealership accounting, including vehicle sales accounting, service revenue accounting, inventory control, and coordination with OEM financial processes.

*Key Responsibilities:*

*Financial Management*

* Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounts department.

* Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.

* Ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards and company policies.

* Monitor cash flow, budgets, and financial forecasts.

*Automobile Dealership Accounting*

* Handle accounting related to vehicle sales, service operations, spare parts, and accessories.

* Manage vehicle stock accounting and inventory reconciliation.

* Monitor OEM receivables, incentives, claims, and reimbursements.

* Track dealer margins, discounts, and schemes.

*Taxation & Compliance*

* Ensure compliance with GST, TDS, Income Tax, and statutory regulations.

* Prepare and review GST returns, TDS returns, and other statutory filings.

* Coordinate with auditors for internal and statutory audits.

*Sales & Service Revenue Accounting*

* Monitor accounting of vehicle sales invoices, service bills, and spare parts sales.

* Ensure proper revenue recognition and reconciliation with DMS systems.

* Support sales and service teams with financial reports.

*Accounts Payable & Receivable*

* Manage vendor payments and outstanding receivables.

* Maintain strong control over customer advances, finance settlements, and bank reconciliations.

*Team Management*

* Lead and supervise the accounts team.

* Train junior accountants and ensure proper financial documentation and reporting.

*Key Skills & Competencies*

* Strong knowledge of automobile dealership accounting

* Expertise in GST, TDS, taxation, and statutory compliance

* Experience with ERP / DMS systems used in automobile dealerships

* Strong analytical and financial reporting skills

* Leadership and team management ability

* Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software (Tally / ERP)

*Educational Qualification*

CA / CMA / M.Com / B.Com (preferred)

*Preferred Industry Experience*

Experience in Automobile Dealership (4 Wheeler – Sales & Service)
