Role Name:  Senior Cloud SRE Engineer

Desired Experience Range: 6 years to 12 Years

Location of Requirement: Hyderabad

Tech Profile/Essential Skills

• Solid experience in cloud infrastructure solutions using AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, VPC, and Direct Connect.
• Solid experience in creating cloud machine images using Packer, Python, Golang and Bash
• Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) with tools like Terraform and AWS Cloud Development Kit (CDK).
• Proficiency in configuration management using Ansible
• Strong understanding of AWS monitoring and management using CloudWatch, CloudTrail, and other AWS tools.
• Knowledge in implementing AWS security best practices, including IAM, VPC design, and security groups[NA1] .

Education and Professional Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• At least 5+ years of hands-on experience with AWS cloud services and best practices.
• AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate or other relevant AWS certifications are highly desirable.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic team environment.

Detailed Responsibilities

• Architect and implement scalable, secure, and cost-effective AWS solutions that meet both current and future needs of LSEG.
• Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) configurations to streamline cloud deployments.
• Collaborate closely with application teams and other stakeholders to align AWS solutions with business and technical requirements.
• Monitor and optimize AWS resources to ensure optimal performanc e and cost-efficiency.
• Participate in Agile Scrum teams, contributing to sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives, and project reviews.
• Create comprehensive technical documentation and architectural diagrams to facilitate knowledge sharing and project management.
