Job Description
1. Job Overview:
The HR Executive at Indus Ecowater will be responsible for executing and managing key HR functions, including recruitment, employee onboarding, training & development, payroll management, compliance, and employee engagement. The role also involves ensuring adherence to company HR policies, maintaining high employee retention, and supporting the HR team in achieving organizational goals.
2. Key Responsibilities
2.1 Recruitment & OnboardingCoordinate with department heads to finalize Job Descriptions (JD) and Key Responsibility Areas (KRA) for each role.
- Execute the annual hiring calendar and monthly hiring plans as per business requirements.
- Source, screen, and schedule interviews to hire the right candidates.
- Conduct background verification and ensure proper documentation during hiring.
- Oversee onboarding, ensuring new hires receive employee handbooks, HR policies, and training plans.
2.2 Attendance & Leave Management:
Ensure all employees mark attendance in SalaryBox (Office & Factory) and FieldSense (Field Staff) apps.
- Monitor grace period usage, late arrivals, half-day and full-day leave deductions, and process necessary payroll adjustments.
- Maintain accurate leave records and process leave approvals in coordination with reporting managers.
2.3 Employee Training & DevelopmentImplement: Onboarding, Training, Development, and Retention Policy to ensure structured learning.
- Organize periodic training sessions as per training calendar.
- Ensure Graduate Engineer Trainees (GETs) follow their training schedule, including completion of the STP Design Course.
- Track employee skill enhancement and coordinate external training programs if needed.
2.4 Performance & Retention Management: Work closely with department heads to track KRA performance evaluations for all employees.
- Ensure that performance review meetings are conducted on time.
- Address employee grievances and proactively work on improving retention, targeting a 90% retention rate.
- Maintain exit interview records and analyze attrition trends to improve hiring & retention strategies.
2.5 Payroll, Compensation & Compliance: Process employee salaries, including deductions for late attendance and AWOL penalties.
- Ensure adherence to employee levels (M1-M7) for perks, travel allowances, and benefits.
- Manage compliance with statutory requirements like PF, ESI, gratuity, and labor laws.
2.6 Travel & Expense Management: Process travel requests as per the Travel & Expense Policy
- Verify travel expense reports and submit them for reimbursement processing.
- Ensure employees comply with travel guidelines and prevent policy violations.
2.7 Disciplinary & Termination Procedures:
Implement Absence Without Leave (AWOL) policy, issue verbal & written warnings, and track salary penalties for non-compliance.
