Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Full Stack Developer with a strong background in Java and REST API development. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and developing robust, scalable, and secure RESTful APIs, refactoring existing PL/SQL procedures into modular services, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions. This role requires a proactive individual who can take ownership of complex applications and contribute to the overall success of our projects.

Responsibilities:

• Design and develop RESTful APIs to expose data and business logic previously handled within Oracle APEX.
• Refactor PL/SQL procedures and backend logic into modular services to support frontend React application requirements.
• Ensure secure, scalable, and performant API architecture, including authentication, authorization, and rate limiting.
• Collaborate with frontend and database teams to define API contracts, data models, and error-handling standards.
• Take ownership of business-critical and complex applications, ensuring high availability and performance.
• Participate in Agile development processes, contributing to sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
• Utilize CI/CD tools to streamline deployment processes and enhance development workflows.
• Implement best practices for code quality, testing, and documentation.

Mandatory Skills:

• Proficient in Core Java and J2EE with hands-on experience in web services, specifically REST API development.
• Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts.
• Hands-on experience with Spring Framework, including Spring Core, MVC, Spring Boot, and Spring Data (JPA/JDBC).
• Familiarity with SQL and NoSQL databases, along with Oracle PL / SQL Development and Hibernate.
• Experience with development tools such as Eclipse/IntelliJ, Maven, BitBucket, and Jira.
• Knowledge of Cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) and CICD - Continuous Integration & Continuous Development tools (e.g., Jenkins, Sonar).
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with Test Automation methodologies (Test Automation - WinRunner, QTP, Silk Test, Test Complete, Automation Frameworks).
• Familiarity with Apache Kafka for messaging and event-driven architecture.
• Basic knowledge of Linux/UNIX environments.

Qualifications:

A degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred. Relevant certifications in Java development or cloud technologies will be considered a plus.
