Job Description

Role Summary

You will design and develop software components for a distributed fund and content management platform running in a highly available, secure SaaS environment. You will work in an agile team, partner with product management, and contribute from concept through production.

What You Will Do

• Collaborate with product and stakeholders to shape requirements and assess feasibility
• Design scalable, reliable components and write clean, maintainable code
• Own unit, integration, and security testing for your work
• Conduct code reviews and drive quality improvements across the team
• Debug production issues and deliver fixes with proper test coverage
• Build monitoring and alerting to proactively surface problems
• Partner with Operations and Release teams on deployments
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to performance reviews
• Document features and share knowledge actively
• Follow Agile practices and participate in production support rotations

Qualifications

Bachelor's in Computer Science with 4+ years of experience, or a Master's with 2+ years.

Technical Skills

Languages: TypeScript, JavaScript / Node.js, Python, Java

Frameworks: React.js, Spring Boot, Express, Flask

APIs: REST, GraphQL, gRPC, Protobuf, AsyncAPI

Architecture: Microservices, distributed systems, event-driven patterns

Databases: PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Cassandra

Caching: Redis

Observability: OpenTelemetry (instrumentation), Prometheus, Splunk, Dynatrace

DevOps: Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD, Helm

Config Mgmt: Ansible (primary), Terraform / OpenTofu for cloud IaC, Helm for Kubernetes: Source Control

Git, Monorepo (Turborepo or Nx)

AI & Emerging Tech

We build AI-powered features into our platform. Strong candidates will bring:

• Hands-on experience integrating LLMs or AI APIs into production applications
• Familiarity with AI prompt engineering and how to build reliable AI workflows
• Working knowledge of agentic frameworks or Model Context Protocol (MCP) for tool-use and orchestration
• Practical use of AI-assisted development tools (e.g., Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, Cursor) to accelerate delivery
