Minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 5 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages.
• 3 years of experience testing, maintaining, or launching software products, and 1 year of experience with software design and architecture.

Preferred qualifications:

• Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or a related technical field.
• 5 years of experience with data structures and algorithms.
• 1 year of experience in a technical leadership role.
• Experience developing accessible technologies.

Responsibilities

• Work with Product Management and leadership to define and influence product goal and strategy, and lay out a technical path to achieve it.
• Plan and oversee complex technical initiatives. Support and grow technical talent on the team.
• Coordinate and align with other technical leaders in the organization.
• Identify, pitch, and nurture new opportunities to use technology to help our customers achieve their goals and differentiate Google Cloud platform.
• Define and uphold high standard for reliability, resiliency, scalability, performance, flexibility, and quality.
