Senior Staff R&D Engineer - C/C++, Qt, Python

The Synopsys TCAD group is looking for a senior C++/Qt developer to help maintain and develop our cutting-edge GUI application for 3D technology modeling. This is a unique opportunity to work on the development of cutting edge TCAD software. Synopsys TCAD is the industry leader in 3D technology modeling. In this role, you will be working with an international team, developing Synopsys's most advanced 3D emulation tool.

The ideal candidate will have:

* BTech/MTech in CS/ECE/EE from a reputed university

* 8 years of experience in C++ software development

* Strong C++17/20 and Qt skills

* Proven experience developing cross-platform GUI applications using Qt

* Experience with software engineering practices, including writing testable software and managing large code bases

* Experience working with worldwide cross-functional teams

* Strong communication and interpersonal skills

The following additional skills are desirable:

* Experience in UI/UX design
