Job Summary:

GPAC is looking for a proactive and solution-oriented System Administrator to manage and support the organization’s IT infrastructure. The role involves ensuring smooth day-to-day IT operations, providing technical support to employees, and maintaining secure, efficient, and cost-effective systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain IT infrastructure, systems, and networks
• Handle company email domains, email ID creation, and access management
• Provide day-to-day IT support to employees (hardware & software issues)
• Troubleshoot system errors, network issues, and connectivity problems
• Install, configure, and update software and operating systems
• Maintain IT assets including laptops, desktops, and peripherals
• Manage software licenses and ensure compliance
• Monitor network performance, firewalls, and cybersecurity measures
• Maintain employee IT database and access records
• Perform regular data backups and support disaster recovery processes
• Coordinate with vendors for IT procurement and AMC services
• Identify and implement cost-effective IT solutions

Additional Responsibilities

• Support onboarding of new employees with IT setup
• Enable remote access (VPN, cloud tools, etc.)
• Assist in IT audits and security checks
• Maintain IT documentation, SOPs, and policies
• Provide basic IT and cybersecurity awareness to employees
• Support website/domain hosting and internal tools if required

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of Windows/Linux operating systems
• Understanding of networking (LAN/WAN, TCP/IP)
• Experience with email platforms (Google Workspace / Microsoft 365)
• Hardware and software troubleshooting skills
• Basic cybersecurity knowledge
• Familiarity with cloud platforms is a plus

Qualification:

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field
• 2–5 years of relevant experience in system administration or IT support
