Senior Video Editor

Job Description:

We are looking for a highly skilled and creative Senior Video Editor to lead and deliver high-quality video content across digital, social media, marketing, and corporate platforms. The ideal candidate will have strong storytelling ability, technical expertise, and the capability to guide junior editors while ensuring timely and impactful output.

Key Responsibilities:

• Edit and produce high-quality videos including promotional films, corporate videos, social media content, ads, reels, interviews, and event videos.
• Lead the video post-production process from raw footage to final delivery.
• Collaborate closely with creative, marketing, content, and production teams to understand project objectives.
• Ensure brand consistency, visual quality, and storytelling standards across all video outputs.
• Guide, review, and mentor junior video editors; provide constructive feedback.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
• Perform color correction, sound syncing, basic sound design, and motion graphics where required.
• Maintain proper file management, backups, and version control.
• Stay updated with latest editing trends, formats, and platform-specific best practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Minimum 4–7 years of professional experience as a Video Editor, with senior-level responsibilities.
• Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Final Cut Pro, or equivalent tools.
• Strong understanding of video storytelling, pacing, transitions, and visual aesthetics.
• Experience editing content for social media platforms (Instagram, YouTube, Facebook, LinkedIn).
• Good knowledge of color grading, audio editing, and motion graphics.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and creative problem-solving skills.

Educational Qualification:

• Degree or diploma in Film Making, Media Production, Animation, or a related field (preferred).
• A strong portfolio/showreel demonstrating professional editing work is mandatory.
• Preferred Skills (Optional):Experience with news media, digital agencies, IT services, or corporate branding.
• Knowledge of animation, VFX basics, or 3D tools is an added advantage.
• Familiarity with content optimization for performance and engagement metrics.
