Service Engineer

Job Title: Diesel Generator Service Engineer

Reports to: Service Manager

Job Summary:

We're seeking an experienced Diesel Generator Service Engineer to join our team. The successful

candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing diesel generators,

ensuring they operate efficiently and effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Install, commission, and test diesel generators at customer sites.

2. Conduct routine maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting of diesel generators.

3. Perform preventative maintenance tasks, such as oil changes, filter replacements, and battery

maintenance.

4. Diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical faults in diesel generators.

5. Provide technical support and guidance to customers on diesel generator operation and

maintenance.

6. Maintain accurate records of maintenance, repairs, and testing.

7. Collaborate with the sales team to provide technical expertise and support for new sales

opportunities.

8. Stay up-to-date with new technologies and developments in diesel generators.

Requirements:

1. ITI or Diploma in diesel mechanic field.

2. Strong knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems.

3. Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

4. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

5. Strong communication and customer service skills.

6. Willingness to travel to customer sites (up to 50% of the time).What We Offer:
