Skin Therapist

Job Overview:

As a Skin Therapist, you will work closely with dermatologists to provide comprehensive skincare treatments and support services to patients. Your role will involve assisting in medical skincare procedures and delivering personalized skincare under the supervision of a licensed dermatologist.

Responsibilities:

Skincare Treatments: Perform skincare treatments and procedures as directed by dermatologists, such as chemical peels, laser therapy, medifacials etc. 

Preparation and Assistance: Prepare treatment rooms, equipment, and supplies for procedures. Assist dermatologists during examinations and procedures, anticipating their needs and ensuring a smooth workflow.

Follow-Up Care: Follow up with patients post-treatment to assess outcomes, address any concerns or complications, and provide additional guidance as needed. Document patient progress and communicate findings to dermatologists for further evaluation.

Product Knowledge: Stay informed about skincare products and medications commonly prescribed for dermatological conditions. 

Hygiene and Safety: Maintain strict adherence to hygiene and safety protocols to prevent infection and ensure patient safety. Sterilize equipment, sanitize treatment areas, and dispose of hazardous materials according to medical standards.

Qualifications:

- Minimum 1 year experience as skin therapist at a dermatologist clinic.

- Familiarity with dermatological conditions, treatments, and procedures.

- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with patients and healthcare professionals.
