Job Brief:The Soft Skills / Life Skills Trainer will deliver employability, life skills, IT skills, and financial literacy sessions that empower youth (18–25 years) to secure meaningful employment or pursue higher education.

The role includes active participation in mobilization, counselling, and training delivery under the Magic Bus Livelihood Programme. Trainers will work closely with youth to identify their career goals and support them in achieving their personal and professional targets.

• Key Responsibilities:Participate in mobilization activities with the centre team to identify and enroll eligible youth from local communities and institutions.
• Conduct induction and orientation sessions for youth joining the Livelihood Programme.
• Deliver structured sessions on life skills, soft skills, communication, IT, and financial literacy using Magic Bus curriculum and tools.
• Facilitate Sports for Development and experiential learning activities to enhance engagement and teamwork.
• Conduct 1:1 need assessments to identify each youth’s strengths, limitations, and training requirements.
• Prepare and implement Personal Development Plans (PDPs) for youth with defined learning and career goals.
• Provide career counselling and guidance to help youth make informed employment or education choices.
• Monitor youth attendance, participation, and progress throughout the training cycle.
• Collaborate with Placement and Partnership Officers to ensure training outcomes align with local job opportunities.
• Support mentoring arrangements by linking youth with mentors and monitoring progress.
• Maintain accurate training data, reports, and documentation as per programme standards.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of training delivery, curriculum, and centre performance.
• Act as a role model by demonstrating professionalism, punctuality, and a positive attitude.
• Desired Competencies:Strong facilitation and presentation skills to engage and motivate youth.
• Excellent communication in English, Hindi, and Telugu (preferred).
• Proficient in MS Office and digital training tools.
• Good understanding of career counselling, mentoring, and youth development.
• Sound planning, organization, and time management skills.
• Energetic, empathetic, and solution-oriented attitude.
• Willingness to travel locally and work flexible hours when required.
• Qualification & Experience:Bachelor’s degree in any stream (Degree/Diploma in relevant domain preferred).
• Minimum 2 years of experience in training or teaching, especially with youth or in skill development programmes.
• Experience in mobilization, counselling, or placement activities will be an added advantage.
• Exposure to employability, life skills, or vocational training programmes preferred.
