Oracle Business Object Spectra Service (BOSS) is a modern, cloud-native, metadata-driven platform built on a microservices architecture and deployed on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI). BOSS services are containerized and can be orchestrated using Kubernetes (OKE), enabling elastic scalability, high availability, and zero-downtime rolling upgrades across environments. The platform integrates tightly with Oracle Autonomous Database (23AI and 26AI) to deliver secure, highly performant, and self-managed data persistence.

BOSS is designed to operate and monitor large-scale production fleets with strong observability, resilience, and operational consistency. Today, BOSS is deployed across more than 19,000 Fusion Applications environments, spanning all OCI regions worldwide, supporting enterprise-grade reliability and global scale.

This role will involve both BOS feature development and 24x7 operational support. Responsibilities include monitoring, provisioning services using Kubernetes and Docker, and managing connectivity with other Oracle services within the Spectra platform. The resource will also ensure full compliance with Oracle Cloud standards, maintaining security and high availability.

Proven track record of developing and testing enterprise application software. Candidate Profile:

Mandatory: - 2-5.5 years of experience in software engineering, preferably in enterprise software development - Need to have hands-on experience in programming, preferably in Java and/or JavaScript - Experience in J2EE, Java (or JavaScript), Kubernetes, DevOps - Write comprehensive product tests - experience in JUnit/Java code testing framework - Excellent problem-solving skills
